08/07/2024 at 10:02 amDelicious fish! Fried until the edges were crispy and fish was cooked perfectly. You can add more sides to the broth as you eat. We were advised this dish was on the spicier side. To me it was perfectly spicy: enough to feel the heat but didn’t need to drink cups of water in between. Waiter was very helpful with what was popular depending on your tastes. They also play some popular songs here; bit of a party vibe. Would come back again!

30/04/2024 at 4:12 am-Came here with 7 people, Saturday night.
-Friends chose this place so I had no idea what to expect.
-Everything tasted pretty average. The dumplings didn’t have any soup, It was dried out. It was pretty funny actually as we were explaining to 1 of the girls there is soup in it, she kept telling us there wasn’t when she tried it & we kept going back & forth…When we tried it, we were disappointed as there was no soup lmao.
-The peking duck was good, the best thing we had.
-We wouldn’t recommend or return as the service was not good.
We waited a long time for the drinks. We had to do a follow up.
We waited a while for food but that’s fine, we were advised an eta with food.
We had to ask twice for our cake as the waiter forgot we asked.
One person was pregnant so I advised the waitress for dietary. She seemed confused & didn’t know what to say. When I was pregnant & I ate at Rice Queen, they were amazing with the pregnancy dietary, I learnt that bean sprouts shouldn’t be eaten so they seperated it for me. At Chef David, One of the meals had bean sprouts..

14/04/2024 at 9:10 pmChef David has changed, they don’t do BBQ on table anymore, still you can order cooked skewers.
We had wagyu fried rice, it was good but missed a liitble of salt which got fixed by adding extra soy sauce after that.
The eggplant dish was my fav. It was out of this world, super crisp and the sauce had amazing ginger flavour.
The fish was abesloutly fresh and tasty. The seasoning on the skin made it super tasty.

10/04/2024 at 5:06 amDisappointingly average. The food was mixed as some dishes were great, like the fired aubergine, and some were terrible, like the fried chicken, it was stale and cold. The drinks take so long to come out and the service was super slow which let it down even more.
We booked a private room so there is a minimum spend per head. We also visited for the MFWF Chengdu event and the food was also very disappointing and the restaurant was not a great venue for this. We barely saw the face changing performance. The food was also a let down.
