31/07/2024 at 7:02 amAs the owner of the this restaurant I am really disappointed about a customer who is about to put a bad review. He came today and tried to get chicken and veggie on rice and he asked for more veggies as he thinks that he was being charged for $15.5 for a lunchbox and he should get what he thinks he is supposed to get (big serving). As all the local knows that we are being very generous and offer big portion and this customer is still not happy. We haven’t put our price up for long time as we want to look after locals and $15.50 for a decent one litre container with rice and meat and veggies and I believe is fair. I hope this customer can find somewhere really cheap to satisfy his expectation.

05/06/2024 at 10:53 amA quiet Wednesday, looking for a feed after some beers with the boys. Headed here and got the deal of a lifetime. Nice enough bloke running the place, kept to himself, probably cause we were chatting so much. Food was really tasty, fantastic price and a generous amount. Got the BBQ pork with eggs on rice, would really recommend. Pork dumplings were good too, but not as good as the BBQ pork. Plan on going back! One of the best cheaper-eats I’ve been too.

15/03/2024 at 3:07 amDumpling House in the heart of Mooney ponds , this small Chinese restaurant exudes charm with its unassuming exterior. The warm ambiance and minimalistic decor create a cozy setting for a delightful dining experience. The Front of House (FOH) staff excels in communication, providing friendly and attentive service. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations enhance the overall dining journey. The menu, though modest in size, boasts flavorsome dishes, showcasing the chef’s expertise. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring value for money. While the restaurant’s simplicity may be understated, its impeccable service and delectable offerings make it a hidden gem worth discovering.
Chef went in effort to create vegan dish for me .. not available in menu.

12/01/2020 at 12:21 pmPros:
– Great value.
– Large portion sizes.
– Loved the Satay Beef & Rice dish! Have ordered this since and will continue to do so! 🙂
– Good dumplings
Cons:
– No Amex
– Broken front door almost impossible to close
– My chicken & corn soup came out after the rest of the food / mains.
– Chicken and corn soup had no flavour (Pro: at least it was only $2.50 as a lunch special)
Overall, very happy and will be coming back for more! 🙂
